BACKGROUND:

I have a Bacheler's degree in English Literature through the University of Tennessee, and I have always had a passion for teaching. I have been a homeschool educator for over a decade.

EXPERIENCE:

I am an IEW certified instructor, and I have experience teaching their "Structure and Style" method, as well as EEL Grammar (Essentials of the English Language).

OFFERINGS:

I currently teach multiple upper middle and high school level courses during the Fall and Spring, including:

IEW (7th and 8th grade)
Elegant Essay, a foundational English course focused on literature and writing essentials
Literary Analysis
U. S. History
World History

I also offer group and private tutoring throughout the year for 7th through 12th grades, addressing skills in:
